Start gathering all your old charms, single earrings, heirloom jewels, trinkets, special beads, “found” objects i.e. coins from travels, buttons, keys, game pieces, etc. Anything metal, wood, or plastic can be drilled and turned into a charm. When we use these personal mementos and place them in a context to honor their power as a symbol, we create our own talisman. Materials include: sterling silver chain, findings for attaching your items, and beading supplies. We will use a basic layout design which may be altered or embellished depending on your personal preference. Tools are provided, if you have your own please bring them.
